Make them sweat...

They called again. They've sweetened the pot a bit, but I still haven't said yes. The wife has told me to do it, so I am closer.

You have an enabler in house?!?  [nailbite]

She's cute, so it's OK... LOL.

I don't think I'll be offered a better deal, ever, on my 8 year old, 70,000 mile bike, and it'll be close to 90000 miles if I keep it for another season. I can afford the new bike, without giving up eating, but I'm a bit of a tight wad in my older years. I'll make a decision tonight.

A new bike with a bigger motor, GPS, blue tooth, heated grips, luggage, liquid cooling, two tone paint and no miles is pretty appealing.

That does sound like a pretty sweet ride. Any upgrades that you would want to do if you got it?

You are retiring in the not too distant future, so having a shiny new ride might be a wise choice, money wise.

Definitely needs to be a pre-retirement purchase.

And so the decision was made...

Not officially, I haven't told them yes, yet.
