Spring Creek: Snow bashing in June 2016
Yesterday I headed to Spring Creek with a few friends. I ran this trail my first time in Colorado about 4 years ago and its a fun scenic trail, not terribly difficult. However, what we didn't expect was for there to still be some deep snow near the top, or that we would be the first ones to lay tracks to the top this year. Was pretty fun snow bashing my way to the top to be the first Jeep up Spring Creek in 2016! From the rock garden all the way to the top, maybe a mile stretch of trail we blasted trough 3ft+ snow drifts and had a blast doing so. I will try to upload a few short video clips soon.
