Project Long Banana (Stretching the Yellow LJ)
Excited to be back at it on project 'Long Banana' :D Plugged up the existing brake line mounting holes and vent lines on the tubes last night (too close to where the truss welds on the tube) and tacked on the new truss (we posted up pics of the narrower truss back when we thought we were keeping the coils+coil buckets) along with test fitting coil over mounts and link mounts. Up next: making the rear links, and notching the frame!

Very Nice! I look forward to following along. Will there be a rear stretch also?

Lower control arm mounts can be done so many ways; but these should tie in nicely to the upper control arm mounts on the frame side.

Is that an LJ or TJ frame in blue?

I dig it. Will any of this be making its way into a 4 link kit?

LJ frame. Link lengths and mount placements might be a bit different for TJs, but I intend to adapt everything for TJ installs as well. So we should have two 4 link kits ;)

Hmmm.... maybe you can make some  brackets for a JK axle on the other side👍🏻

How much vertical separation is there on the frame side?
