Ya! I had to run over to the other building. There's a crude dirt trail between here and there that runs along the RR tracks. Gets a bit sporty when it rains. One of those "Eff It" moments 😆

Who ya gonna call? ....ssssombody else. I THINK I've fixed it. I redid the splice in the wiring to the sensor. The wiring was burned in twain once due to getting to close to the manifold. I bought a new pigtail and spliced it in. Apparently not good enough. So, re-spliced. It did fine this...

hey... i did that once in Tamiami, FL. locked the keys to the rental mustang convertible in the trunk. kicker? the car was actually unlocked. Since it was a convertible, all the non-key ways of getting in the trunk didn't exist. No trunk release button. No laying the back seat down. Rental...

It looks as though it's been dipped in an enormous vat of slightly burned motor oil.

I'm thinking it's the wiring to the sensor... acted up friday am. I screwed around with the wiring, checking for damage during lunch. didn't really find anything, though, I'm going to cut out a splice i'd put in. It acted up the first few minutes on the trip home. Saturday.... nothing. no...

I thought about that. Its 'new' wire. Its gotten too close to the manifold at some point and melted the loom. I did check on the wire during the swap and didn't see anything. Im going to strip the loom off and get a better look.

Not fixed. It was. Now it's not. Gonna check for damaged wiring but beyond that im lost

I was 5 min late for work. Two excellent reasons::: One: I had to swing by the parts house and pick up a 710 cap cause I'm an absent minded loser and drove all over 3 counties yesterday with no oil cap. Second off::: How many opportunities am I gonna have to see one of the only two remaining...
