Calico has offroad trails, a ghost town and is located about 5 miles east of Barstow is directly accessible of the interstate 15.
Has a rich mining history and some mine shafts to explore

Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be had here is about 7 miles away from the trails. There is a hotel nearby also.
