All fluids filled up and fired it up yesterday. Ran pretty well. Still have to make exhaust, coolant lines and wire everything up. Was a relief to hear it run.
It’ll be slightly more annoying to get fuel but not really. And I have 4 tanks, probably pick one more up. The guys I know running propane go through 2 at most in a weekend, so be able to rotate them out.
Same in New England. Doubt it’ll snow much or at all on the coast where I am, but just a hour or two north is supposed to get a foot plus of the white stuff tomorrow.
Yea, was EFI. Mainly did it for the ability to simply and cleanly wire the thing. Only a couple wires to get it to run. And being stroker with 10:1 compression it’ll like the propane.
More work over the past couple weeks.
Propane conversion all done. HEI distributor in. All new heavy duty engine skid. New steering lines. Battery box moved. Redesigned passenger footwell. Couple additional tubes over engine area.

That’s my point tho. Kinetic rope isn’t supposed to be used like that. So it’s not surprising that happened. Its whole point is to stretch and yank someone out in the right application. Or an easy tow out of the woods.
