hey...
i did that once in Tamiami, FL.
locked the keys to the rental mustang convertible in the trunk.
kicker?
the car was actually unlocked.
Since it was a convertible, all the non-key ways of getting in the trunk didn't exist.
No trunk release button. No laying the back seat down.
Rental company gives you both sets of keys. They were both in the trunk.
Somewhere I have a key to a '07 mustang convertable, i don't own, that cost me $90.
