From what I?ve been reading it looks like it?s been done fairly often. Most of the xj 3 link kits use the passenger side upper and ditch the driver side altogether. Seems like I?m not in uncharted territory but damn it feels strange to remove a link completely especially when I have short arms. Granted this is less than budget boost or OME height so it shouldn?t be a huge issue in theoryen480c4 said:This was just finished elsewhere. Similar end result on a TJ... First thing I though of when I saw your post. Used the equivalent of a lower for the upper to account for the added stress.

They said there may be some slight clearancing of the driver side upper control arm to clear at full bump. The guys words were ?it typically isn?t an issue, if it is you only have to shave 1/4? off?. Well I took 1/4? off the arm, 1/4? off the truss, added 1/2? of extra bump stop and the arm still contacts the truss at full bump enough to where the axle side joint is severely misaligned from being pushed out of the way. Now not only the part that I clearanced hits, but the body of the arm and the jam nut also hit so I can?t cut anything further. It?s a nice truss but I?m a little irritated. A Currie arm probably would fit fine since it?s a really small diameter, but the metalcloak double adjustables I have are not even close, even with 2.5? of extra bumpstop over stock.
That was the consensus when I was researching tummy tucks. So I went with Savvy, still had to massage a couple things but no issues for several years.green50gt said:Late to the party, but the topic of UCF. So I think pretty much none of their stuff fits right. I had issues with their belly skid and he had no answers for me.
