Put in a new mailbox post, Saturday. The old one was starting to rot and had a bit of a gangster lean from being hit by a school bus. I reused/repainted the box, itself. My new favorite color: Bedliner.

So...
My tires have been rubbing and causing damage for a while.
I've trimmed and trimmed. still rub.

I back out of the space at the gas station, hear the rub. no bigs. It DID sound different though...
pull out into the road, sit out the light.
Get through the intersection (all 4 windows down) and hear a gentle flop.
In the mirror I see somethin layin in the middle of the road. I actually look back... that looks vaguely familiar. Look forward at my driver fender flare: Gone.

Doubled back after it. ...looks like decisions are being made FOR me 😆

It hit 70° yesterday, so half doors are on and windows are off until fall. Took the LJ out on a cruise to the lake and finished the night with Nekrogoblicon/Dragonforce/Dethklok concert in the pines.

Went to my Mom's house, put up a bird feeder she just bought. Then I replaced batteries in 3 of her solar lights, and reconnected a loose wire in another.



I think I'm done for the day.

Sat out back, with my better half, and enjoyed a beverage. We have completely different tastes when it comes to beverages. Once she got covered in shade, she needed a jacket too...lol.
