Adjusted the front arms today and cycled the suspension to see what hits. I moved the axle back quite a bit to help keep the RC trackbar from hitting the diff cover, but no luck there even with 2" bumpstops. Spent some time resetting the rear control arms since they were eyeballed when the 3" coils went in. The axle clears the tank skid with the lower arms set at about 15.5" (minimum length). The uptravel is severely limited by the track bar and bracket nearly hitting the crossmember and hard fuel...

Went out for a Sunday cruise and got the tires dirty. Stumbled across a herd of antelope along the way.

Track bar bushing replacement, bumped the height up 1/4", and alignment. These alignment tools make it so much easier to get the toe set correctly.

250 miles into the gear break-in. I'm glad I went with the 5.13s. The 1-2 shift is quick, but around town and low speed highway cruises along nicely. The revolution gears are quiet. There is a slight vibration around 50mph, which I believe is coming from the front shaft since that's pretty beat...

It hit 70° yesterday, so half doors are on and windows are off until fall. Took the LJ out on a cruise to the lake and finished the night with Nekrogoblicon/Dragonforce/Dethklok concert in the pines.

Right!? It was a hotshot trip to be there and back in Flag by 3. I waved as I was passing through.

Gears are done and rear e-locker installed/wired. Time to break the gears in. I'll report back with how the 5.13s feel at 7000 ft.

Dropped the LJ off for gears. Quick trip to beat the foot of snow expected on Easter Sunday. I'll take the 60mph gusts over icy roads any day.

Escaped the snow and headed to Grand Cayman for a few days.

I run the following on my Jeeps: LJ: 26psi Tire setup: 37x12 5r17, load range D XJ: 28psi Tire setup: 35x12.5r15, load range C Past XJ, I ran 30psi on JK rubicon takeoffs (33s), load range C. The chalk test is a great indication of proper contact patch.

Ventured out to Sycamore Falls after the snow let up. Nice little hike to 3 beautiful waterfalls.

The factory tire carrier on the MorRyde brackets never sat nicely with a 5x5 adaptor, causing the tire to sit too far from the tailgate and requiring extra long extensions for the rubber snubbers. I ended up snagging a JK adjustable carrier and modifying the tailgate mount on the carrier to fit...
