Bty34 TJ Build

The one you shined your Trucklites on?
No they almost caught the thieves , but they took off across the yard to avoid my neighbor in the driveway.

Now onto more important things. Wheres the wheeling Pictars?!?

I'm slacking a little on updates here. RC was fun as always. Didn't do anything to tough, but it was good to get out. Had a bent tie rod on a JK and two broken u-joints on a TJ (thats why you don't use greasable joints in axle shafts).

This isn't really that Jeep related, but we took a vacation to the outer banks towards the end of October. Thanks Beasley and Sundowner for all the recommendations, they really helped. A couple of days were a little cool, but it was a lot of fun. My daughter loved the beach and really didn't care how cold the water was.

I'm in Colorado for work this week. Got a Compass for a rental. It was the only thing that was 4 wheel drive. It did make it up to the top of Pikes Peak

I really need to get out here with the wrangler and spend some more time exploring. It's too bad the drive is so long.

Kids are nuts when it comes to water temps. Glad y'all had a good time.
Your guidance really helped, Kill Devil Hills was a nice area. The restaurant recommendations were spot on too. Definitely had a lot of great fish tacos.

Life on the island was good to me , glad to pass along the good stuff to friends.

The Colorado pics are great , wish I was out there now!

There hasn't been any work on the TJ lately. It's put away in the barn for the winter. I got a set of 4.88 revolution gears for it when I get some time. Remodeling our kitchen is sucking up the Jeep time at the moment.

In related news, I picked up another flatfender. It needs some love, but is a little less molested than the last one. Plan at the moment is keep it pretty much stock, get it running well, upgrade the brakes and do a little body work. It needs a front floor and tail light panels mainly. I'll probably start a new thread for it when I get started on it.
