New tire day! Decided to to out the sticky swampers as they work year round and I love me some snow wheelin.

I had picked up a set of Iroks for the winter, but really need beadlocks to run them low enough to work. Few of my buddies run the swampers with great success. May not be as sticky as the red label but I think the diff clearance will help even it out.

That?s it. And the stroker from my YJ should be getting swapped in by spring.
I forgot you had that laying around. Might consider throwing a new rear main in it before installing it...

Any updates on how this rig has been doing? Might try to get a couple rigs together to make a trip up to F&F next year. Between work and the little one, I've only been able to do a couple wheeling trips this year.

Been workin great. Last month spun the front axle tube in the housing. Had to fix that, but otherwise just doing basic maintenance.

Since swapping on the SX’s I’ve had it out a decent amount. First couple times in the snow. So far been happy with the tires. Maybe not as sticky as the reds but been doing everything I’ve asked of them. They work year round and the extra size helps immensely.

Follow f&f for the open events they post. That’s the easiest way to get in there. I go to most of them.

Some pics from my wheelin adventures. Never get too many of myself.

One thing I did was change up the back of buggy. Swapped in a poly fuel cell and put in a Milwaukee Packout plate. Cooler on one side, tool storage on the other.

Fixed up axle tube that spun. Tried fixing it with a suitcase welder to keep wheelin for the weekend but it didn’t hold. Also added a dash piece. Still need to cut the holes for the cup holders.

Still plenty more to mess around with, it nothing imperative. I’ll just continue to wheel it.

Pretty nice views and wicked rocks as well . Hard to believe this is in the Northeast.
Northeast has a bunch of awesome spots for wheeling. Just all private so they don’t get much if any exposure. And a handful have some pretty amazing views and set in beautiful areas.

This past weekend was back up at F&F for Fall Crawl. This event is for all the members of local clubs part of the NEA4WD which allows us access to all the private properties. All guided trail rides on and off site.

Ran Sucker Punch at F&F, one of my favorite trails there. With all the rain the night before, everyone had to pull cable at least twice. One obstacle has only been driven twice since the trail had been cut. The other is a huge slab climb that takes some wheel speed to get on to it, then isn’t too bad but was too slick this weekend.
