Finally dragged my rig into my buddies shop for some much needed maintenance.

Getting the 4.7 stroker from my YJ. Twin sticked the 205, replaced bearings and seals. Went through the doubler. New bell housing on the AW4 because it was cracked in half. Whole drivetrain dropped out the bottom pretty well. Remaking a couple tubes to make it more serviceable in the future.

Also chopped off the shock hoops to make them a bit more appealing to the eye.

Spruced up the cab. Mounted the triple sticks. Custom mount for the stock trans shifter. Put in a panel for switches, panel for a digital controller and raised the rear of the drivers seat a tad for better seating position.

Going to feel like a whole new rig and I’ll have gone through the whole thing fully.

More work over the past couple weeks.

Propane conversion all done. HEI distributor in. All new heavy duty engine skid. New steering lines. Battery box moved. Redesigned passenger footwell. Couple additional tubes over engine area.

Got to fill up all the fluids and make the exhaust.

Really close though. Thinking Saturday we’ll be able to fire it up. Then proceed with wiring everything up nicely. Fingers crossed next weekend for the shakedown.

Yea, was EFI. Mainly did it for the ability to simply and cleanly wire the thing. Only a couple wires to get it to run. And being stroker with 10:1 compression it’ll like the propane.
I knew you had your reasons, just curious to what they were. Hope it rips for you this weekend.

It’ll be slightly more annoying to get fuel but not really. And I have 4 tanks, probably pick one more up. The guys I know running propane go through 2 at most in a weekend, so be able to rotate them out.
