Maybe when you mentioned painting it, he thought you meant a different color.green50gt said:By what do you mean?
Tape and block?green50gt said:I dont have one of those thingies, just gonna trace it with a sharpie [nailbite]

Drill a hole in the block to hold the pen at the desired height , then add tape to the bottom of the block so it slides smoothly.green50gt said:Explain this please
Perfect straight line.green50gt said:Greg, I have no idea what you're talking about? How does that help me?

I missed the tapered part. Snap a line.green50gt said:So what does the block do for me exactly? Absolutely not following. You saw the part where I am not cutting the same amount out of the hood right? I need like 3.25" in the back and like 2.5ish" in the front. I fear that you are stating the wood block slides across the bottom of the hood.

You're cutting 3.25" off the back and 2.5" off the front? A thought... Raise the front of the hood .75" and run a sharpie and a block of the right height along the top of the fender. If it's the other way around, raise the rear instead.green50gt said:...I need like 3.25" in the back and like 2.5ish" in the front.
