Not too shabby , now weld the bottom edge back on as this a keeper.

Yeah no, who do you think I am, Hendrix?

Otherwise headed out for paint!  Stripped and ready to go.

So man with everyone home I would think there would be more Jeep talk on the site.  🙁  Alas, I don't have anything super great to add.    Front clip is getting painted tonight.  Got a seat, a bunch of mostly JK adjustable control arms and some rear rubi flares for a good price.  Gonna keep the fixed RE control arms for the rear lowers, gonna chop up the upper JK fronts, and then sell off the set of adjustable rear uppers and lowers...

My drivers seat is jacked...  Wont fold and tumble, the top wont tip forward, it had some gangster lean that I thought might be the seat itself but turns out its the mechanism that makes it go move.  Ugh.  Anyway this new one isn't nice but it seems to work - I may swap my canvas on the new seat.  I dunno, lots of stupid work and i'm not impressed.

Seat cover kicked your butt?! And the fenders look good in orange.

Ok maybe I am exaggerating a bit, but still, it was not fun.  I only did the seat back too!  I did learn some stuff though so if I absolutely had to do it again it would be considerably quicker.  I'm just mad I didn't buy new seats.  I'm still gonna have to put seat covers on it - assuming I can make the thing fold and tumble again - the whole chair was whopperjawed and nothing worked right.  I swapped my top cover onto the "new" seat - I am not going to dare swap the bottom over, and its not great, but mine wasn't either.  Ugh.  I'm just anal and I want perfection.

Cut down my JK upper front links to figure out what thickness of tube im running.  Then made some aluminum inserts for my Defenders.  Thanks job.

No speed holes in the inserts?!!

No.  I?d love to have louvers again but I don?t think [member=308]jeepster1407[/member] comes around anymore.  And I?d love to have some perforated vents but [member=79]The_Eng[/member] is on corona lockdown.  It?s cool.  These are made by me!
