AEV Brute rebuild aka old yellar!

Metal cloak mid arms and anti rocks at both ends have tamed this beast! Next up is a new LS time to get the engine completely dialed in.

I saw the thread updated and got worried you had sold it. Glad to see it's still on the Hill and that you're still dialing it in. I can understand all your reasons for selling it, but this one and Ruffy are among my favorites on the forum. It will sad to see either of them go.

They're my favorites as well! I may have figured out a few things numbers wise , we will see. If I sell it's only to help with the stores. Yes I said stores...

I have a few different bumpers depending on what we decide to do. I like the Mopar bumpers for this build.

While I may agree, your answer is still lame.

The honeymoon is over.

What are your plans when you say new LS? Rebuild, or going bigger?

No tuner yet , not sure what happened to him? Today was the first day my shoulder has allowed me to do much. I sprained it over at mamas house last week and it has really slowed me down. Anyways the Brute is in the shop and I am working on a pair of AEV / Rubicon style sliders. Should be fun to get them bent around the corner.

I was looking at doing something similar on my Jeep.  The paint and body are great with the exception of a couple spots low on the rear corners.  I want to clean them up but know I won't be able to match the paint, so I was thinking I'd track down some Rubicon rockers, trim the bottom flange off at the bend and bend it around a buck just like that.  Looks great!

Thanks! I have a spare set of TJ Rubicon sliders if you can find any up North. I ended up having the steel broken to a custom length at a local machine shop for less than the sliders go for though .

One more done.

No but I might use the NP1 they used to glue the doors together that we bought yesterday from a restaurant that is getting torn down!

Gonna drill holes and use button head hardware to attach them .

Passed inspection! Going to a new how by summer time. I don?t have the time to finish this. Any serious offer near 30,000 gets it
