bbusch's stealth Rubicon build

The Jeep badge for the bumper turned out real nice although I?m sort of considering changing the white to a different color. Also I am looking into Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires wrapped on a set of KMC Grenade bead locks, we will see.. my current set is getting dated.

I?m not sure if it applies to the DOT Baja Boss?s, but a buddy that owns a shop told me Mickey is upgrading the sidewalls up a ply this coming year. Guess there have been a handful of failures. Might want to hold off on them til then.

Thanks for letting me know.

Jeep looks killer to me , but I get when somethings off and it drives you crazy.

The tires are about eight years old so they need to be replaced over next year or so, routine maintenance.  The MTRs still have a fair amount of tread so they may bring in some coin on used market.  The spare has never touched the ground and it?s starting to get hard.  As for the RC wheels I love them and will keep them for the LJ once I replace the D44s.

I went through 3 Sticky Mickey sidewalls in a year.  I loved the tire offroad, but they just didnt last.

That?s what I?ve been hearing. I have a couple buddies on them for a season or two but they don?t go out much. Guess the improvements are coming.

And I have no idea if that is the same for the DOT.

What I want to know is if you still have those "carbon fiber" dash speaker mounts or not?  🙂

They are aluminum.  Stereo turned out great.
