Bob's boring build

Boy, a year goes by too quickly. Not a whole lot going on with the TJ. Some updated comms. Soft top is finally on for summer, and just commuting to work mostly. No wheeling trips planned, other than Moab, 2023. Thru a CEL last week for bank2 O2's, so I replaced both of them. Camshaft synchro was getting pretty sloppy, so I replaced it with a Standard Ignition unit. 5 months later, the CPS shit the bed on it. Luckily I had kept the factory unit, so I stole the cap from it. I'll leave it on until it craps out and put a new Standard Ignition cap in the glove box for funnzies. Oh yeah, new beef up front too.

Considering leaving the soft top on for the winter.
I dont have much for hardtops here and I suspect we have similar lows. The heater in the Jeeps cranks , so I just run a soft top.

Been a crazy winter for us in NorCal. Received the most snow in March that I've ever seen in the 50+ years I've lived here. 8-10" at lake level! Lots of damage, downed trees, collapsed car ports and the like, including my redneck carport.

Yes, the jeep was under there at the time. It stopped the fall before hitting the tree.

Put a small dent in the A-pillar and scuffed the soft top. We strapped a comealong to the opposing tree and jacked it up enough to get the Jeep out.

I was in Tahoe skiing the last time it went this crazy back in 96 or 97?! It was nuts and I think this is much more than that trip.

Glad y?all are mostly alright!

Doing a horrible job at keeping this thread up to date. Let's see, 2nd heim joint failure on my Sway Lock.

When I talked to them about my heims losing the liners within 500 miles, they said it was the first time they had ever heard of it.
