Haha yea, I couldn't stand driving the econobox I bought after selling the Gladiator. Seeing as the SS became an option again, I dumped it and got my old car back. I said I'll buy my old car back, but otherwise I'm sticking with the gas saver. 14mpg later, no regrets.


Got it nice and clean for a car show this weekend, didn?t stick around for the awards, but there were so many cool classics there it wouldn?t have mattered. Also added some roof bars for the bike rack.

BlackVue 750 dual dash cams installed toady. I've put dash cameras in all of my vehicles after the Tacoma accident where the dummy turned left across 3 lanes and I t-boned  him.

About $400 new. I got a deal on a used set from eBay. I?ve been running the Viofo A119 in all the other vehicles, but it?s only a front camera. For a cheaper dual camera solution check out Viofo A129 Pro Duo.

Tired of the rear tires rubbing the fenders. Fenders we?re already rolled, but that still wasn?t cutting it. Swapped out the rear springs for the next taller set. I was supposed to raise it about 1/3? but it ended up about 7/8?. Little taller than I wanted, but maybe it?ll settle. On the plus side, no more rub!

I?ve heard of Caprice/PPV police cars, but not SS for police stateside. That?d be an awesome patrol car.

Ok, well admit they all look the same I didnt know there was a Caprice.  Is that still a 6.0 car?

Yea the Caprice is a 6.0/L77 where as the SS is a 6.2/LS3. The Caprice, G8 and SS do look very similar and even share a lot of part?s compatibility.
