Jeffro06's 2006 Rubicon

There was some cutting done on the body today. Kevin's plasma cutter made it a bit easier, for sure.

The Illinois cancer has not been nice to Rubi. My optimism has taken a hit...lol. Just so you other skeptics know, if Rubi doesn't survive its cancer treatment, there is a full '05 Rubi body sitting just outside Kevin's shop, willing to save the day. I just don't want Rubi to die, we have gone through so much, with so much more ahead of us, that I just feel it deserves a chance at survival. Now, if I only survive as well.

I removed the plastidip crap off the grill. It will get a bedliner treatment.

This mounting bolt on the grill is gonna be a pain.

The exhaust is welded and bolted up.

The front brake lines were attached, but not much more happened with the chassis.

Here's where my hope went to die....lol.

Until we meet again.....lol.

So many clean tubs and frames down here. That's one really nice thing about FL.

The current TJ, I said I was only going to look at it and see how bad the frame was for the price. As soon as I felt clean frame, it was decided.
I know I could have opted for a different tub, aka: clean tub, but we took on this challenge, and there no quitting allowed...lol. Now, if failure becomes a thing, I'll admit defeat and say goodbye to my Rubi.....😪
