Time for dinner now.

10ish hours of wheeling today. 38 miles. Poison Spider, Golden Spike, Gold Bar Rim, Gemini Bridges.

We saw 2 vehicles, until we got to Gemini Bridges, then there were 4 or 5 more.

Pics are from Kevin's phone, I'm pretty much sticking with my dslr.

Flat Iron Mesa done. 18 miles in 4.5 hours. Front locker quit working.....2 hours later the rear locker light started flashing too, but it appears to still be working. The front has acted up before, when I was here in 2015, but has worked since then.

Headed to Kane Creek here in a bit. Good thing I have a winch...lol.

Made it through Kane Creek, despite the front locker not engaging. Kevin thinks it may be a bad air line.....and we can't find any in Moab....wth? I only needed a little winch help one time, at the beginning of Hamburger Hill. There were a few obstacles that were a little tougher than they should have been, without that front locker. Had a blast though.

Popped the diff cover, the air line came off. We need to run to Napa in the morning, fill the diff and hope all will be good.

Diff filled. We'll soon know how that locker is gonna act. I think we're off to Fins and Things and Hell's Revenge today.  It's been spitting a bit of rain, and there's a slight chance all day, but the wheeling must go on!

Hells Revenge gets sketchy when it rains!

We were exiting as it started coming down. We did Hell's Gate, Tip Over Challenge and The Stair Case. We passed on Escalator.

We did the La Sal Pass Loop with on and off rain. It was awesome, highly recommend. We headed back to Moab via Geyser Pass. I think we did like 45 miles today....some of it was very messy.

Locker worked awesome.

We started the day on 7 mile rim. It started raining as we hit the end of the trail. Kevin didn't have his full doors, with windows, on so we headed back to the hotel to get them. It was a fun 20 mile drive for him...lol.

The rain soon stopped, but the full doors went on anyway. We headed to Top of The World. That trail has gotten a bit rougher over the last 7 years.

We stopped to eat and I heard some new noises. Turns out my front lower control arms loosened up. But wait, there's more. I twisted the front drive shift and found the ujoint on the passenger side axle was toast. Kevin brought his old shafts, so he swapped it with mine.

All the control arms were double checked as well.

Kevin landed hard on his stock tranny skid, and smashed it good. He could feel all the drive line vibration on our way back from top of the world.

Oh, we got off the trail right as night fell.

No worries, both Jeeps are ready to go for our last day of wheeling.

Ready to go.

What will tomorrow bring? [headscratch]

Great day of wheeling! Metal Masher, The Pickle, 3D, and Mashed Potato. No breakage or problems today. The Pickle was very muddy. This was the wettest Moab trip I've ever done.....but it was great.

All loaded up and ready to head home tomorrow.

I'll spend many hours editing photos once I'm home.
