2020 Gladiator

Despite it reminding me of an H3, the more I look at it, the more I like it. I'll probably never have one though since my eyes are set on something else and my wife loves the 4Runner.

Agreed on the look, but I don't think it's quite what I want in a truck.  That's why I bought my Z71.  I'll keep my Jeeps on the shorter side.

Seemed pretty capable from that video,  didn't look as long as pictures make it seem.  Im sure it would feel massive on tighter trails that we seem to have a lot of in the south/ south east

Priced out my dream rubi gladiator at 46k. I'd never buy one at the price but a used with 50-60kish miles on it is definitely in my future

The more I see the gladiator and the more comparisons I read the more I want

Here is a pretty good article from FourWheeler. http://www.fourwheeler.com/news/1903-first-drive-2020-jeep-gladiator/

I'm with Tonnelin. The more I look at them/read about them, the more I think I want one.

Surprised the prices are reasonable, well compared to any other new Jeep/vehicle.

I may be interested in picking one up in 5+ years , but who knows what my needs may be then.

With the reasonable price there will most likely be one on the hill sometime in the next year or so.

Pretty cool they all come with the widetrack D44 front and rear. Rubi axles without the lockers.

That was a really good article... Probably changed my mind on the manual rubicon because of it. A sport with tow package would be great for me based on info in that article.

I love the low bed sides and it's exactly as long as my extended cab 05 tundra

Wow, that was a good article. Still won't be able to afford one til the used ones are on the market, but really peaks my interest.

Wonder if a better clutch would make a difference.  Nice to know the stronger rear axle is standard... maybe hold up to 37s stock?  I do like them,  but i also like my old dodge truck that i don't really worry about denting, and the same goes for my tj.  Im sure if i lived out west with the wide open wheeling id have one,  but for our muddy tree lined trails im not sure yet

Jeep showed a 2dr concept that looks pretty sweet.

That does look awesome but I don't understand all the pissing and moaning about jeep not offering a 2dr gladiator. No one buys 2dr pickups anymore - 80% of midsized truck sales are crew cab 5 foot beds and I'm sure most of the remaining 20% is made up of extended cab trucks.

Here's a really comprehensive review of all the cool features

The 2dr concept had a nice look to it, and it'd be mighty tempting to have, but the practicality isn't there for most of us

I think for most people it?s just the fact that jeep has typically been a 2 door brand, at least with the wrangler, so not offering a two door is ?insulting the heritage?
